Our Premium WP theme / framework updates

What lies at the core of pretty much all functionality in this site, is our — in 2019 forked AFPv1 premium theme — redubbed to TELL-A-FEW. It looks very basic, but it has been and still is, a tremendous undertaking to make and keep it compatible with all third party solutions. As we didn’t reinvent the wheel, we connect it with others through the same car body, to basically build a sportscar through reverse engineering our requirements. All with WP yes.

• Testing AurPay as a replacement of GoUrI for native compatbility with PMPro w/o WooCommerce
• Retesting plugins CheckoutWC and MyCryptoCheckout for native crypto payment gateway
• Retesting an efficient social share plugin: ESSB, Mesk, …
• Porting widgets of WPBakery to Elementor Pro
• Research an alternative for TablePress premium
• 3rd party SMTP relay testing due to moving to Vultr. Either mailgun or sendgrid.

About three months ago the faith of this site was still uncertain due to time constraints. The reason to pursue it anyway is due to ‘kill off some darling’ and converge the content of 5 sites with the same theme into 1: Project EWE. It allowed me to focus more time on the theme, and keeping things simpler on the member-only backend and frontend.
